In order to support the Export Compliance Department, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Legal Specialist for Export Control (d/f/m)
The mission of the department is to promote and support Export Compliance throughout the Division. The task is to support all other Export Compliance Officers within the organization and to organize overall topics.
You will be the Legal Specialist who has a main objective to promote and support overall topics with Export Control, support the Military Aircraft platforms and the affiliates projects.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Ensure compliance with all export related national & international laws and regulations
Conduct research activities connected to laws and regulations and draft Export Control statements in German and English language
Anticipate upcoming legal changes of Export Control legislation and derive suitable actions to be implement for Airbus Defence and Space
Coordinate overall compliance checks, findings, corrective actions & best practices
Ensure that corrective actions are well implemented across the Division and secure that same methodologies are being followed & coordinate any cross-organizational projects
Guarantee the correct management of Voluntary Disclosures
Prepare and coordinate specific and cross-Platform license application, especially towards the U.S. authorities and implement U.S. license strategy within Airbus Defence and Space
Manage export control risks and support other operational functions to manage theirs
You are educated to a degree level in Law, Export, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
Ideally you have relevant experience and knowledge in the field of export control and it would be an advantage if you have attended dedicated training courses in the field of export control
You are used to work with laws and regulations and are able to pervade complex legal topics
You have already gained experience in the international program business
You take initiative and are committed to your work as well as curious and willing to learn new things
You work in a detailed and precise manner and have good communication and organizational skills
You are fluent in English and German
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
